Summary

This study tests whether getting extra sleep (called sleep banking) before knee or hip replacement surgery can help reduce long-term pain and the need for painkillers. Researchers will track pain levels and opioid use in 22 adults aged 18-74. The goal is to see if a simple, non-drug approach can improve recovery.
