Could a simple massage help control sleep apnea?
NCT ID NCT07169058
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific type of manual massage, applied along the path of a major nerve, can quickly improve basic body functions in people with moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea. 100 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the massage or just rest for the same amount of time. Researchers will measure immediate changes in heart rate, blood pressure, and blood oxygen levels to see if this non-invasive approach shows promise.
