First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether a nerve block combined with numbing spray can help people recover faster and with less pain after surgery for obstructive sleep apnea. About 80 adults with moderate to severe sleep apnea who are having a specific throat surgery will take part. The goal is to see if this approach reduces pain, cuts down on strong painkiller use, and shortens recovery time.
