Summary

This large, completed Phase 3 study tested whether a daily pill called AD109 could help control obstructive sleep apnea in adults who cannot or will not use standard CPAP machines. For one year, 660 participants with moderate sleep apnea took either the active pill or a placebo to see if it reduced their breathing pauses during sleep. The goal was to provide a new, pill-based option for managing this common sleep disorder.
