Smart ring aims to replace sleep lab for apnea diagnosis

NCT ID NCT06255613

Summary

This study is testing whether a wearable smart ring can accurately diagnose sleep apnea and related breathing problems during sleep. Researchers are comparing data from the ring worn at home to the results from a full overnight sleep study in a lab, which is the current standard test. The goal is to see if the ring can be a simpler, more convenient tool for doctors to identify and measure the severity of sleep disorders.
