Summary
This study is testing if giving a medication called dexmedetomidine at night can help older adults sleep better and feel less tired after major lung surgery. Researchers will compare the medication to a placebo in 102 patients aged 60 and older. The main goal is to see if better sleep leads to a smoother and faster overall recovery.
