Can pulling a sled make teen soccer stars faster?

NCT ID NCT07418892

Summary

This study tested if adding light sled pulling to sprint training helps young soccer players run faster and jump higher than regular sprint training alone. Forty-four male players aged 13-17 did sprint workouts twice a week for six weeks, with half pulling a sled and half not. Researchers measured changes in their 30-meter sprint times, jump height, and other performance metrics to see which method worked better.
