Simple blood markers may predict lupus activity

NCT ID NCT07043153

First seen May 13, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looks at whether combining two simple blood test results—albumin-to-globulin ratio and prognostic nutritional index—can help predict disease activity in people with lupus. Researchers will study 200 adults with lupus to see if these markers can serve as an easy, non-invasive way to monitor the disease. The goal is to create a cost-effective tool that could help doctors track lupus activity without complex tests.
