First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This program gives patients with hard-to-heal diabetic foot ulcers access to an experimental treatment called SkinTE. The treatment is made from a small piece of the patient's own healthy skin and is placed directly on the wound to help it close. The study will track how well the treatment works and any side effects in real-world use. It is for adults with diabetes who have a specific type of foot ulcer.
