Can a Father's touch strengthen the bond with his newborn?
NCT ID NCT07159477
Summary
This study tested whether skin-to-skin contact helps new fathers bond with their healthy babies. Researchers randomly assigned 165 first-time fathers in Turkey to either have early, frequent, or no structured skin-to-skin contact. They measured the strength of the father-infant bond using a questionnaire three months after birth.
