First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looked at whether using a sling during skin-to-skin contact after a C-section helps mothers and babies. 78 first-time mothers who had a C-section took part. The goal was to see if the sling increased the time spent skin-to-skin, improved breastfeeding success, and reduced newborn weight loss.
