New ointment tested to clear Sun-Damaged skin on face and scalp
NCT ID NCT06135415
Summary
This study tested whether a prescription ointment called tirbanibulin is safe and effective for treating larger areas of sun-damaged skin (actinic keratosis) on the face or scalp. It involved 280 adults who applied the ointment or a placebo cream to a defined treatment area. Researchers measured how well it cleared the skin patches and monitored side effects over several months.
