Light therapy gel targets Pre-Cancerous skin spots in final trial

Summary
This study is testing whether a gel called Ameluz, activated by a special red light, can safely and effectively clear actinic keratosis spots on the body. It compares the active gel to a placebo gel in about 172 adults with 4 to 15 of these sun-damaged skin spots on their arms, legs, neck, or torso. The main goal is to see how many people have all their treated spots completely cleared after the light therapy sessions.
