Scientists blister skin to unlock inflammation secrets
NCT ID NCT05535738
Summary
This study aims to understand how inflammation works in the skin and how anti-inflammatory treatments like biologic drugs and steroid creams affect it. Researchers will create a temporary, controlled skin rash on healthy volunteers and people with certain skin conditions, then take tiny, non-scarring skin samples. The goal is to gather basic knowledge about skin biology to help improve future treatments for various skin diseases.
