Study tests which bandage heals skin graft sites faster

NCT ID NCT07257991

Summary

This study aims to find out which of two common wound dressings works better for healing the area where skin is taken for a graft. Researchers will compare a povidone-iodine foam dressing to a standard paraffin gauze dressing in 82 patients. They will check which dressing helps the skin heal completely faster, causes less pain, and needs to be changed less often.
