Cream or pill? trial tests best way to fight common skin fungus

Summary

This study aims to find out which treatment works better for a common skin infection called pityriasis versicolor: a medicated cream applied to the skin or antifungal pills taken by mouth. It will involve 86 people aged 15-50 who have the infection. Researchers will randomly assign participants to one of the two treatments and compare how well each one clears up the rash.
