Can a supplement boost your skin's defenses? small study investigates

NCT ID NCT07513597

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This completed study tested whether taking a daily dietary supplement called 4Life Transfer Factor Vista could increase skin carotenoid levels, which are markers of antioxidant status. Twenty-four healthy adults took the supplement for 8 to 12 weeks. Researchers measured skin carotenoids using two non-invasive devices: a Veggie Meter and a Samsung Watch. The study also looked at changes in eye health in a small subgroup.
