Could wiping out skin germs tame eczema flares?

NCT ID NCT06397781

Summary

This study is testing whether a 3-week treatment to reduce staph bacteria on the skin can help control eczema symptoms. Researchers will enroll 100 people with moderate-to-severe eczema to see if this bacterial reduction leads to less severe skin inflammation. Participants will use antibiotic ointments and a skin cleanser, then have their skin and symptoms checked before and after treatment.
