Summary
This study looked at whether doctors remember a rare emergency airway procedure (FONA) equally well 3-4 months after training on a cheap homemade model versus a store-bought one. 44 resident doctors were randomly assigned to train on one of the two models. The goal was to see if the homemade model is good enough, which could make training more affordable and accessible.
