Nose device tested for relief of autoimmune dryness

NCT ID NCT06626477

Summary

This study tested a new at-home device that uses gentle stimulation inside the nose to see if it could help relieve the dry eyes and dry mouth caused by Sjogren's syndrome. 26 participants used either a real or a dummy device for six weeks, then everyone used the real device for another six weeks. The main goal was to check if the treatment was safe and if it could increase tear and saliva production.
