New lens trial offers hope for Sjögren's dry eye relief
NCT ID NCT07185139
Summary
This early-stage study is testing special contact lenses containing stem cells to help people with Sjögren's syndrome who have severe dry eyes that haven't improved with standard treatments. The trial will involve 12 participants to check if the lenses are safe and if they can improve eye moisture, comfort, and health. Researchers will monitor participants for about a month to see how their eyes respond to the treatment.
