Stand or walk? study reveals how your desk affects your brain
NCT ID NCT07576413
First seen May 09, 2026 · Last updated May 09, 2026
Summary
This study looked at how different desk setups—sitting, standing, or taking a 2-minute walk after sitting—affect thinking and mood in healthy college students. 31 participants did cognitive tasks and reported their moods under each condition. The goal was to see if people respond differently to these work styles, not to treat any disease.
