New implant aims to fix flattened feet for good

Summary
This study is testing if adding a small internal implant improves a common surgery for painful adult flatfoot. 130 patients will be randomly assigned to receive either the standard surgery or the standard surgery plus the new implant. Researchers will track foot shape, pain, function, and patient satisfaction for two years to see if the combined approach leads to better, longer-lasting results.
