Radical sinus surgery tested to stop nasal polyp regrowth
NCT ID NCT04852562
Summary
This study tested whether a more extensive sinus surgery approach works better than standard surgery for people with chronic sinusitis and nasal polyps. Researchers compared two surgical methods in 110 Chinese patients to see which one better controls symptoms and reduces polyp regrowth. The goal was to find if removing more sinus tissue during surgery leads to longer-lasting relief for this recurring condition.
