New 'Reboot' sinus surgery aims to reset inflammation and reduce repeat operations
NCT ID NCT07368361
Summary
This study compares two surgical approaches for people with chronic sinusitis and recurring nasal polyps. It will test a newer, more extensive 'reboot' surgery against a standard procedure to see which one better prevents polyps from coming back over two years. The goal is to find which method gives patients longer symptom relief, improves their quality of life, and reduces the need for steroid medications.
