First seen Mar 28, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study tests a fully dissolving sinus stent that releases medication to prevent nasal polyps from coming back after surgery. It involves 192 adults with eosinophilic chronic rhinosinusitis and nasal polyps. The stent is compared with standard steroid sprays or pills to see if it reduces polyp recurrence and the need for oral steroids.
