First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 17, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a new method to prepare the upper jaw for dental implants in people with too little bone. Surgeons lift the sinus membrane and hold it up with a titanium mesh or metal screws, then place a blood-clotting material to help new bone grow. The goal is to see which method creates stronger bone for implants. The study involves 20 adults with less than 5 mm of bone in the upper jaw.
