Sticky bone may improve dental implant success in sinus lifts

NCT ID NCT07444970

First seen Mar 15, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether a special 'sticky bone' graft (made by mixing bone powder with a patient's own blood concentrate) works better than standard bone graft for sinus lift surgery. 18 adults needing dental implants in the upper jaw will be randomly assigned to one of the two graft types. The main goal is to see how much new bone height is gained and how stable the implant is after 6 months.
