Gentler jawbone surgery? study tests new dental technique

NCT ID NCT05495490

Summary

This study compares two surgical methods for adding bone to the upper jaw before placing a dental implant, a procedure called a sinus lift. Researchers will test which technique—using a special drill or small chisels—leads to better bone growth, more stable implants, and higher patient satisfaction. The goal is to find a more comfortable and effective way to prepare the jaw for a permanent tooth replacement.
