First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 22 times

Summary

This study looks at whether small pins made of magnesium can hold a membrane in place during a sinus lift procedure, which is done to prepare the jaw for dental implants. The pins are designed to dissolve safely in the body over time. The study will involve 12 healthy adults who need this surgery and will check if the pins work well and how they break down.
