Scientists test two bone mixes to rebuild jaw for dental implants
NCT ID NCT07177495
Summary
This study compares two bone graft materials used to build up bone in the upper jaw (sinus lift) before placing dental implants. Patients with severe bone loss will receive either a mixture containing some of their own bone plus cow bone particles, or cow bone particles alone. Researchers will measure how much new bone grows and its quality after six months to see which material works better.
