First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study involved 60 people with severe bone loss in the upper jaw (less than 4 mm of bone height). They received a sinus lift surgery using a mix of synthetic bone materials and a blood concentrate. After six months, small bone samples were taken to measure how much new bone had grown. The goal was to understand how well these materials help rebuild bone for future dental implants.
