First seen Apr 01, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 6 times
Summary
This study tested a new balloon catheter (SINOMED CBC) to open narrowed or blocked heart arteries in 136 patients. The balloon is inflated inside the artery to improve blood flow, often followed by placing a stent. The goal was to see if the device is safe and works as well as existing options for treating coronary artery disease.
