Trial tests if disposable scopes work as well as reusable ones
NCT ID NCT06581016
Summary
This study aims to find out if single-use (disposable) gastroscopes perform as well as reusable ones during stomach exams in the operating room. Researchers will compare the two types of scopes in 700 adult patients who need this procedure. Each participant will have one exam with each type of scope to see if there are differences in success rates, procedure time, or complications.
