One surgery instead of two? study tests simpler hearing implant procedure for kids
NCT ID NCT04038216
Summary
This study aimed to see if a simpler, one-step surgery for bone-anchored hearing implants is as safe as the traditional two-step surgery for children aged 4 to 9. It compared the rate of implant loss between the two methods. The goal was to reduce the number of surgeries children need to go through.
