One-Hour online therapy trial aims to curb eating disorder risk in youth
NCT ID NCT07149324
Summary
This small pilot study is testing whether a single, one-hour online therapy session can help reduce symptoms of disordered eating and improve mood and self-esteem in university students at risk. The session, led by a trained therapist, focuses on helping participants build self-worth beyond just their appearance. Researchers will first gather feedback from a few students to refine the session, then test it with a small group to see if it leads to improvements over four weeks.
