One shot for knee pain? study reviews Year-Long relief
NCT ID NCT07487038
Summary
This study looks back at medical records to see if a single injection of hyaluronic acid (a gel-like substance) into the knee can safely reduce pain and improve movement for people with osteoarthritis. It involves about 133 adults with moderate knee arthritis, tracking their pain, stiffness, and function for a full year after getting the injection. The goal is to see if one shot can be a simpler, less costly option compared to the usual series of weekly injections.
