First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026
Summary
This study compares a new single-channel retrieval bag to a standard dual-channel bag for laparoscopic removal of uterine fibroids in 78 women aged 18-45 who want to keep their uterus. The new bag aims to shorten surgery time and make the procedure easier for surgeons. Early results suggest it may cut sampling time from about 37 minutes to 15 minutes with similar safety.
