First seen Mar 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using actors (standardized patients) helps nursing students learn assessment and diagnosis skills better than traditional classroom teaching. About 60 first-year nursing students will be randomly placed into either the simulation group or the standard instruction group. Researchers will measure their skills and experiences to see which teaching method works best.
