Hands-On training vs. online learning: which better prepares future anesthesiologists?
NCT ID NCT07336784
Summary
This study tested whether hands-on simulation training or online lectures work better for teaching first-year anesthesiology residents. Researchers randomly assigned 65 trainees to receive either simulation-based or online lectures covering the same topics. They measured how much knowledge residents gained and retained, and how satisfied they were with their training method.
