Can video Game-Style training make epidurals safer for moms?
NCT ID NCT07056140
Summary
This study aims to see if practicing on a realistic simulator helps new anesthesia doctors place epidurals more successfully for women in labor. It will compare 86 doctors-in-training, with half getting the special simulator practice and half learning the usual way. The main goal is to see if the simulation group has a higher success rate placing the catheter correctly on their first tries.
