Summary
This study checked how safe and effective the Simplify® Cervical Artificial Disc is over 5 years in 291 people with cervical degenerative disc disorder. The disc is designed to replace a damaged disc in the neck to relieve pain and maintain movement. The study measured success by improvements in neck disability, nerve function, and lack of serious problems or additional surgeries.
