This study tested a new way to remove large, non-cancerous uteri using a laparoscopic (keyhole) approach. Surgeons cut the uterus into a long strip inside the body and pulled it out through the vagina, avoiding a large abdominal incision. The technique was tested on 20 women and aimed to make surgery faster and safer.
