New device aims to help kids with cystic fibrosis breathe easier
NCT ID NCT04084041
Summary
This study tested whether a new home device called Simeox could help children with cystic fibrosis clear mucus from their lungs better than standard chest physiotherapy. Forty children, aged 8 to 18, tried each method for one month at home to see which one improved their breathing and quality of life more. The goal was to find a more effective and comfortable way to manage this daily part of their care.
