Silver-Lined hip implants aim to stop infections in revision surgery

Summary
This study tests a special silver coating on hip implants to see if it can prevent new infections after revision hip replacement. About 268 adults with an ongoing hip joint infection will receive either the coated implant or a standard one. Researchers will track how many people develop another infection within 12 months after surgery.
