Doctors test new stitches for better healing and less scarring
NCT ID NCT05225714
Summary
This study is observing how well a specific suture material called Silkam® works for closing skin wounds in everyday medical practice. It will involve about 164 patients, including adults and children, who need stitches for cuts, surgical incisions, or other skin injuries. The main goal is to collect real-world information on infection rates, healing quality, scar appearance, and how easy the stitches are for doctors to use.
