Summary
This study looks at whether applying a silicone ointment to the skin before head and neck surgery can improve how scars heal. About 60 adults having non-emergency surgery for non-cancerous conditions will take part. Researchers will compare scar appearance and symptoms like pain and itching in the short and long term.
