Silent tumors: hidden heart danger?
NCT ID NCT07316075
Summary
This study aims to understand the heart and metabolic risks in patients with 'silent' adrenal tumors that don't produce excess hormones. Researchers will compare 50 patients with these silent tumors to healthy individuals and to patients with hormone-secreting tumors, both before and after surgery. The goal is to see if these silent tumors still pose cardiovascular risks, which could change how doctors monitor and treat patients.
