New dissolving strip tested as potential alternative to ED pill
NCT ID NCT05490680
Summary
This study tested a new, dissolving oral film version of the medication sildenafil (the active ingredient in Viagra) for treating erectile dysfunction (ED). About 488 men with ED were randomly assigned to receive either the active film or a placebo film for 12 weeks. The goal was to see if this new film form was effective and safe, and to find the best dose, especially for men aged 65 and older.
