Can a new teaching strategy unlock better language for deaf children?

NCT ID NCT06729164

Summary

This study is testing whether a specific teacher training program helps deaf children learn sign language and writing better. About 150 deaf children and their teachers are involved. Teachers are split into two groups: one learns the new method, and the other continues their usual teaching. Researchers will measure the children's language skills before and after a school year to see if the new training makes a difference.
